Main purpose of job:

As an established and profitable Contract consultant you will have responsibility over building and developing a successful recruitment desk in the IT space, with particular focus on - Infrastructure by identifying and developing new business opportunities. This is a very exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing recruitment business in the UK in one of our newest and most successful offices.

Our Manchester office opened in 2017 is closely supported by the Bristol HQ and benefits from receiveing bespoke training and development from our in-house Training team, at all consultant levels. We understand the importance of identifying and articulating the full talent lifecycle to our clients and where we can real add value and make a tangible business change.

Key Responsibilities

Build your market:
  • Be a market leader within the Infrastructure space
  • Grow and develop a team of Contract consultants to be leaders in the market
  • Attend industry events
  • Create and maintain business records to increase your profile and footprint within your market
  • Develop your solid lead base of relevant prospective clients and candidates
  • Continue to lead generate to build on your pipeline of new business opportunities within your market. Identify and qualify these opportunities
  • Grow new business sales revenue in the Energy market
  • This is not a dual-desk, the ideal candidate will have an extensive Contract background
  • The candidate will play a key role in market selection
Recruitment Activities:
  • Be an expert in the candidate and client end to end recruitment lifecycle
  • Sell the benefits of working with Opus Talent Solutions as a full service talent partner
  • Establish key clients and target client plans
  • Manage key relationships with clients within your market to generate profitable business partnerships
  • Be able to attend business meetings with clients to identify needs and offer solutions
  • Skilled negotiator with both client and candidates
  • Be adept on all Opus technical systems (RDB, Daxtra, Idibu etc)
  • Meet performance standards that relate to KPI activities
  • Experience of either managing a small team of trainee recruiters or mentoring responsibilities
  • Grow the Renewables team over the next 12-24 months on a Contract basis whilst working alongside your Perm counterpart
