We started in the UK in 2008 with four people, and now have over 200 people in 8 offices across the Globe.

As a result, we are now further investing in growth. And to celebrate that, we are launching an exciting new programme to find, train and employ people that want to be part of our supportive, winning culture.

We are accepting applications from people willing to work in any of our UK or European offices in London, Manchester, Bristol and Amsterdam.

You will be trained together as a cohort, by our award-winning training team, as well as learning from our top employees from across the business; forming strong bonds with your colleagues across the regions and really feeling part of a global company.

During the interview process, we will establish which team you are best suited to (taking your interests on board).

We love innovation. And as well as running a successful recruitment company, we have also recently launched a technology training business www.nology.io

The goal of _nology is to fix the skills and diversity gap within technology by giving people from under-represented backgrounds the opportunity to gain digital skills and finding them their first role in technology.

To give our employees a huge differentiator, all trainees on our course will have access to our “introduction to technology” training. Meaning you could also learn the basics of agile, coding and programming – giving you the ability to talk confidently and with knowledge to both candidates and clients, and to truly understand the sector you are selling into. This is totally optional, and you can take as many or as few of these modules as you like,

Your Background

We don’t require further education to apply for this programme. 40% of our staff don’t have degrees, and our average employee performance is way above the market average.

The Training Programme

• You will join Opus’s award-winning training programme to understand the recruitment and technology industry over four intensive weeks

• You’ll receive training on all elements of the recruitment process, from candidate management to client relationships, sales and negotiation training

• You will have optional access to _nology’s proprietary tech training to upskill you in the basics of technology 101 – a key life skills in 2021!

• You will receive cross-team buddy mentoring sessions, video-based learning, and on the desk support from the day you start.

• Once integrated into your new team you will continue on The Opus Evolve, Explore, Excel programme. This bespoke programme is tailored for you throughout your Opus Career.

Role

• Recruitment Consultant joining a fast-paced dynamic Tech or Energy team

• Working in an established, high performing teams that are hardworking and sociable

• Excellent earning potential, and an ability to build relationships with exciting clients

• Building relationships with the best talent in the market

• Opportunities to progress quickly within your team

• Telephone and Web based sales as well as face to face meetings with clients and candidates

• Helping organise webinars, networking, meet-ups and events to embed your industry knowledge and develop relationships with clients & candidates

Job Requirements

• A proven interest in sales and people focused roles

• Interest in the Technology or Energy sector

• A good listener who can anticipate the needs of others

• Negotiation and persuasion skills

• The confidence to approach a diverse range of new people

• Good at developing and maintaining relationships

• A team player with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate

• Organised and willing to follow rules and processes that make sense

• Resilient, ambitious and determined to develop a rewarding career

• Uncapped commission, based entirely on performance. Expected first year earnings of £30k-£45k. Second year earnings range anywhere from £40k-£100k+ for top performers.
