Whilst Opus today is unrecognisable from the day we set up, our aim is still as clear and as relevant as ever as we embrace and create so many new exciting technologies, methodologies and innovative ideas!
I am passionate about the relationship between people and work. In fact, I would say it is something that I obsess about. I founded Opus in 2008 with a clear aim: To become a Global Leader in Niche and Innovative Talent Solutions. I was proud of my background in Recruitment and really felt there was so much more to give to the talent space by expanding our offering to cover the full Talent Lifecycle – from defining an organisation’s talent strategy, building a strong and relevant employer brand, attracting and recruiting the right people, managing people to thrive, developing them and their careers, retaining good people and then positively impacting people when they exit the organisation.
Whilst Opus today is unrecognisable from the day we set up, our aim is still as clear and as relevant as ever as we embrace and create so many new exciting technologies, methodologies and innovative ideas! Most of my time is now spent working with innovators in the industry, focusing on projects that address ‘the future of work’ and other exciting challenges and opportunities.
I’m very fortunate to work with some of the most amazing people on the planet and as such we have been fortunate enough to win a number of very significant awards and accolades over the years. For me personally, these include being named The Sunday Times Best Leader on two occasions (2015 and 2016) as well as numerous ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ awards.
Outside of work I am a proud father of three amazing children. I enjoy watching and playing sport and love reading books on my favourite topics – wellness, motivation, management theories and business.
“In my opinion, the best thing about working here is the inclusiveness. Since joining, there hasn’t been a single person who hasn’t been kind or offered to help.”

“Opus has a great reputation for L&D. I heard about how good the training programmes were before I joined, and now I can see why.”
“It’s rare you get to work with people who you would also consider genuine mates outside of work. This helps maintain a positive culture within the team.”
“L&D at Opus is superb. It’s really interactive, so you can actually see your progress on a daily basis.”
“To anyone applying, I would tell them, if you’re looking for an innovative, energetic and hard working environment, then Opus may well be the place for you!”
“To succeed in the finance team, it’s important that you’re a good team player. We all work closely together and get along very well.”
“It’s a great place to work, both from a business and finance perspective as well as the social life on offer. It’s interesting to see how a fast-growing company evolves.”

“The main reason for choosing Opus was the unity that I felt between the teams and individuals during my interview. Also, the career prospects and earning potential are endless.”
Head of Innovation
“The culture is like a high-performance sports team. Everyone pushes each other to achieve and relies on every ‘position’ to make the collective work. It’s loud, fun and exciting.”

“Long term career progression keeps me focused. I’m always aware of what I need to do in order to progress and reach the next level. Short term, Opus has some amazing incentives from weekly rewards to super incentives like trips abroad.”
“Everyone looks out for each other, and we have lots of fun as well as working hard. Everyone understands that recruitment can be hard and we help pick each other up on bad days. It’s what keeps you going.”
Principal Recruitment Consultant
“The drive and energy is what’s different to others. It’s traditionally a very male-dominated career, but as a female, I certainly don’t feel as part of the minority. We’re all one team, working toward shared goals.”
