Our Finance team is expanding again and we are looking for a fully qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) Management Accountant to join us to provide general support to the Group Financial Controller and the wider finance team. Typical duties will include

  • Management of the monthly cycle, including support and review of 2 assistant management accountants
  • Lead the production of the monthly group management accounts
  • Monthly billing reconciliations, working with stakeholders across the business to reconcile any differences between actual and forecast
  • Month-end close, to include posting of journals into the Finance System (Sage 50)
  • Assist with the production of the annual group budget & longer-range forecasts
  • Calculating consultant commission and bonus amounts
  • Assist with the monthly balance sheet & intercompany reconciliations
  • Work closely with the wider FinOps team to identify possible efficiencies
  • Liaise with external, overseas accountants
  • Assist with the annual audit
  • Ad-hoc analysis for stakeholders across the business to allow for informed decision making
  • Track and resolve accounting problems and discrepancies as needed

Requirements

  • Sage 50 (preferred but not essential)
  • Good Microsoft excel skills
  • Qualified accountant ACCA/ACA/CIMA
  • Calm when working under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
