We are looking for someone to join our team on a temporary basis as a Data protection Administration Assistant.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  1. To help process all Data Subject Requests (Incl. SARs, Rectification, Erasure etc.) and thirdparty requests in accordance with internal processes, GDPR and UK Data Protection legislation
  2. Perform data- related administrative tasks including managing a Data Privacy Inbox
  3. Work with the Legal team and other internal functions to flag any legal risks promptly
  4. Provide support to the Legal Team with any legal, ICO or litigation actions/proceedings/complaints that may take place
  5. Assist with addressing queries/complaints and respond to the identification of and resolution of data quality issues ensuring that data subject rights

Skills and Experience

  1. Have an appreciation of data protection/privacy issues and a proactive work ethic
  2. Have an ability to prioritise effectively and organise own workload and using own initiative where appropriate
  3. Work with discretion in the handling of sensitive personal data ensuring that information is handled appropriately
  4. Have excellent ICT skills with good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
