This role includes many elements including business development, customer/client service and administration working for a Recruitment company. You must have worked for a Recruitment agency before.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all contractors are compliant in line with internal protocols.
  • Keep track of contract end dates, running reports to support the team in proactively securing contract extensions in a timely fashion.
  • Interfacing with key clients on a day to day basis, both on internal messaging services, emails and meetings;
    • Communicating contract end dates
    • Responding to requests for information, by running and providing reporting where needed.
  • Trouble shooting any issues with existing contractors & clients
  • Joining and helping with Service calls as well as Quarterly/Annual reviews with clients.
  • Driving the importance of contractor monitoring, compliance and extensions across the London Contracts team.
  • Keeping track of the onboarding processes for various different clients and assisting in the onboarding and security checks of individuals contractors
  • Make contact with contractors who do not have a consultant aligned to them ensuring they are receiving a good service and looking to extend their contracts where possible.
  • Work very closely with our finance and operations teams who are Bristol based primarily and understand Opus internal practices – add value where possible where compliance and processes can be improved/streamlined
  • Be instrumental in ensuring consultants are ensuring timesheets are submitted and approved in time to avoid delays in payment for contractors,


Essential Experience

  • Experience working in a recruitment business, in an operation capacity
  • Experience with running reports & compliance
  • Experience dealing with candidates/contractors on a regular basis
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders within a business, in both front and back office.
  • Experience working hand-in-hand with a front office sales function.
  • Great communication skills – client experience is not required, but as it will be incorporated heavily in this role, both written and verbal communications are vital.

Desirable Experience but by no means essential

  • Hands-on contract recruitment experience
  • Experience communicating with clients


Compensation: Salary £35-50k basic dependant on experience plus performance bonuses based on utilisation, compliance and extension rates.
