Our growth in Australia has been monumental and we are now on the hunt for an enthusiastic Senior Credit Controller to join our Operations and Finance team in our in our Sydney office located in the heart of lovely Barangaroo.

In this role you will be working with the senior management team and the finance operations team to develop, improve and run the Australian debtor ledgers and accounts receivable for the entire APAC business. Ensuring and enforcing our credit control policy.

This role would suit someone with impeccable attention to detail who is very well organised, can work well under pressure and a fast-paced environment.


  • Creates, processes, and sends all client invoices / credit notes
  • Conduct client calls to ensure we understand their process for payment
  • Monitors and keeps PO system up to date
  • Runs credit checks and advises on best terms of business
  • Supports in the negotiation of terms of business
  • Uploads customer invoices onto our accounts system (Sage 50 & Xero)
  • Supports with Transaction Reconciliation monthly
  • Contacts clients daily for cash collection
  • Manages accounts receivable helpdesk for all accounts related queries
  • Uses HSBC.Net to pull money received and upload client invoices
  • Uses Excel on a regular basis to update cash position
  • Creates a variety of spreadsheets to report the cash collection and aged debt figures to the senior management team
  • Runs monthly checks through our CRM & online timesheet portal to ensure all time is correctly billed


  • Previous experience with credit control and owning own ledgers
  • Hold either AAT or CICM accreditation
  • Have experience overseeing the life cycle of agreement collections
  • Previous experience of bank reconciliations and AR ledger management
  • Experienced in invoicing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Forward-thinking idea generator
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Possess a flexible approach and be able to balance different aspects of this role
  • Positive attitude, an aggressive appetite for growth, and a strong work ethic
  • Experience in a credit control role within a recruitment environment is desirable however not necessary
